A 911 Scare

In the middle of the night last night, Shyra fainted on her way to the restroom and was unresponsive. Michael called 911 and the paramedics were able to revive her and stabilize her. Her blood pressure was very low. Other than that, there were no other problems the paramedics indicated. They said it happens when the body is weak, and the blood pressure is low, that most likely if she stood up too quickly, it was what caused her to faint.

Turns out the past 2 days, Shyra hasn’t been eating very much at all. Today we are going to be monitoring her closely, and making sure she is getting the protein and electrolytes that she needs to stay strong.

I will be sure to keep you all posted when I know more.

As you’re praying for Shyra, please also pray for Michael and especially my parents, as things like this can be very scary and can cause a wide range of emotions.
