Shyra’s chest x-ray showed fluid in her lungs. It looks like she has pneumonia. Her potassium was super low and her white blood count super high.

The Hospital staff will be keeping her at least 2 days to get her started on antibiotics, potassium, and monitor the pneumonia.

Shyra is getting a blood transfusion now.

As a family, we are concerned, but we are grateful she’s at the hospital, with the medical professionals, where she can be monitored and well taken care of.
